Y’all know me: always on the lookout for a quick and easy toddler activity; extra bonus points if the materials are free and/or found around the house. This one is a winner!

Materials:
Empty (clean) Parmesan cheese container
Drinking straws cut into pieces (length depends on age of child)

Yield: Hours and hours of quiet entertainment!
